The consultant was not there when appointment was scheduled and so his assistant examined me and said that this is worrying and that cysts this size does not go on their own but was concerned because I had already had the same operation done a year ago when they removed a 5.7cm cyst. They scheduled me for an appointment 3 weeks later to see the consultant so that he could decide to operate this cyst.
Meanwhile before going to our usual prayer meeting on Saturday at River of Love, I was in much pain and Chris and I were considering whether to go to hospital straight away, however we decided to postpone it to after the meeting since we didn't want to miss it. At one point there was a corporate prayer where we all (around 100 people) took each other's hands and prayed in the name of Jesus for each other. When I sat down I noticed I was not in pain any more but waited.....later after the prayer meeting I was still not in pain. When persons asked me how I felt all I could say was ' I have no pain praise God!' I knew Jesus had healed me. Days passed and still no pain....
Today the 24th June I went to hospital because I had the scheduled appointment. When I went in for the ultra sound the radiographer could not believe that the cyst had disappeared. When I explained that I was healed during the prayer meeting, she said that she usually is skeptical but could not explain how the cyst was not there. I asked her specifically if this cyst could have left on its own. She said no, this size usually can't go on their own. I saw the assistant consultant again and she agreed that I was healed and that God had spared me from an operation as this cyst was too big to go on its own. I asked specifically again if this cyst could go on its own and she said no, it was too big.
His promises are true:
Mark 16:17-18 Jesus says: "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name . . . they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover."
Matthew 18:19 "Again I say to you that if two of you agree on Earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven."
1 John 4:4 ". . . . greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world."
Isaiah 53:4-5 "Surely He hath borne our sickness and carried our sorrows yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and by His stripes we are healed." "BY HIS STRIPES WE ARE HEALED!
Isaiah 40:31 "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary, and they shall walk and not faint."
These are promises for all those who believe. God wants to show His signs and wonders...
