Course Description

In this course, we will discuss in detail the indispensable structural foundations of the Christian faith required for healthy Christian living. Based primarily out of Hebrews 6:1-2, we will execute a deep study of each theological "pillar" and look at how it directly relates to the believer's daily walk: Repentance from Dead Works, Faith Toward God, the Doctrine of Baptisms, the Laying on of Hands, the Resurrection of the Dead, and Eternal Judgment.

Learning Outcomes and Competencies

Upon completing this course, students will:

• Understand how vitally important it is to be built upon a solid foundation: Jesus Christ, the Word, and the six foundational pillars.
• Acquire clear knowledge of the importance of establishing a healthy, sound Christian doctrine to walk safely in.
• Learn the biblical patterns of God's operations, including the distinct purposes of the three baptisms mentioned in the New Testament.
• Internalize the scriptural truth that Jesus Christ Himself is the ultimate rock upon which the Church is built.
• Comprehend the dynamic importance of faith in the daily life of a Christian.
• Understand the clear biblical message that Jesus Christ will judge the world and the Church using different criteria and at different dispensational times.
• Develop sharpened spiritual discernment to easily distinguish between true Christian teaching and false doctrines.

Course Description

This course provides students with practical, effective tools for a lifestyle of daily evangelism, enabling them to reach a wide variety of people who are lost without Christ. Students will study powerful techniques and classic, effective evangelistic methods proven by historically significant men and women of God.

• Become deeply familiar with different biblical and historical methods of evangelism.
• Master the dynamics of prophetic, Holy Spirit-led personal evangelism.
• Analyze the mechanics and modern application of mass (crusade) evangelism.
• Become significantly more effective at reaching diverse people groups and world religions, leading them to salvation on the spot.
• Learn how to strategically use key scriptures during an evangelistic presentation.
• Learn to utilize effective witnessing tools customized for specific religious backgrounds, including Roman Catholics, Muslims, Jehovah's Witnesses, Atheists, Buddhists, and New Age adherents.

These expressions of prayer are governed by spiritual principles rather than rigid formulaic methods. The student will discover how prayer serves as a divine and supernatural key for the Christian to actively connect earth with heaven.

Don’t be fooled! You will encounter offense, and it is entirely up to you how it will affect your relationship with God. If offense is handled correctly, you will become stronger rather than weaker, choosing to grow better instead of bitter.
